First time moms:  $700

If I am hired to be a member of your birth team, I will provide a minimum of two prenatal visits; three visits are preferred, however. These are usually done in the last trimester so the information is fresh when it is time for the baby to be born. Our prenatal visits will include going over your personalized birth plan, physical touch (with essential oils if requested) to build a relationship of communication, connection & trust; practicing positioning, counter pressure and other such skills that will be used during your labor. I am on call for you 24/7 starting at 37 weeks. Once I arrive at your birth, you will have my continuous support during your labor, delivery and about an hour following the baby's arrival.  It is customary to secure my services by a deposit of 50% of the total upon the signing of a birth doula contract, with the rest of the payment due by the date of the post--partum follow up visit.  Venmo is convenient @Amanda-Griffith-1, or a cashiers check from the bank, or cash.  Personal checks are not accepted. One post-partum visit will be included in this base rate, along with a post-partum gift package. Other post-partum services for emotional support, housekeeping, laundry, etc., can be hired at an hourly rate of $25 per hour.

Should I be called out unexpectedly by someone who has not prior hired me but wishes me to attend their birth, this will be done at my discretion (schedule permitting) and will be charged at a rate of $400.  This fee will be applicable to all birth settings---hospital, home or birth center.  The same awesome support will still be given.

Daddy Doula Package: $150

Daddies are so important! This package has been created to provide educational services for those couples who wish for the baby's father to be the sole provider of support for the mother during birth.  I will provide two one hour sessions at your home to teach him how to be a daddy doula.  We will go over all the important techniques for giving comfort & relief to mom during her labor & birth.  This is a lot of hands on interaction in a personalized crash course for how to best provide true relief if a professional doula is not present.  Should you decide to call me last minute to attend your birth, the normal doula fees listed above will go into effect, and any prior payment made will be applied to the total.
